Case Study: Dublin Contemporary Exhibition

Location: National Concert Hall, Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2

The Problem:

The Dublin Contemporary Exhibition runs for 8 weeks in the National Concert hall from the beginning of September until the end of October. The National Concert hall is a fine building but it has many windows.

The Effect:

The artists who agreed to exhibit their work were concerned that excessive sunlight may cause fading and long term damage to their creations, consequently Dublin Contemporary needed to assure them that their exhibs would be protected and guarantee they would not be damaged.

The Solution:

By applying a combination of 3 films, clear UV film, Twilight white Film and Black gloss vinyl we were able to achieve the ideal light level for each artist while at the same time ensuring that the pieces would not be damaged.
